History
In April of 2008 Tyler Davidson, Inc. (TDI) was incorporated in the State of Ohio and is fully owned by William C. Weber who is the President and CEO. TDI’s mission is to provide Intelligent Transportation Solutions and consulting services that satisfy the wants and needs of the state and provincial governments for the motor carrier services community.
Who we are
TDI is committed to the motor carrier community in North America. While the corporation may seem young, our team members have been providing motor carrier and motor vehicle solutions and services to the jurisdictions for over twenty years. These solutions included: the International Registration Plan (IRP), the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), Commercial Vehicle Information Systems Network (CVISN), Commercial Vehicle Information Exchange Window (CVIEW), Performance and Registration Information Systems Management (PRISM), the Motor Carrier Permitting/Routing systems, Vehicle Title and Registration systems, Drivers License Services, and Scofflaw systems to name a few. TDI personnel have been involved in the deployment of over 18 IRP/IFTA systems and multiple deployments of permitting systems to jurisdictions in North America.
TDI also provides services related to the motor carrier community. We have proven abilities in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, strategic planning for motor carrier agencies. This is demonstrated by successful partnerships with DMVs where we have provided a variety of services through the entire project life cycle.
TDI personnel has many years experience in providing project management capabilities to the jurisdictions where we have successfully coordinated the efforts of multifunctional organizations for very complex systems. These efforts also include the coordination with organizations outside of the state’s infrastructure (i.e. motor carriers, FMCSA, IRP Inc. etc.) where we provided the ability for them to issue oversize/overweight permits, titles, registrations and fuel tax reporting capabilities through web-based applications.
Through many years of participation with the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), IRP, IFTA and other related conferences and our vast experience, TDI utilizes proven methodologies and best practices that add value to your organization in building the groundwork for the future deployment of motor carrier solutions. These processes assist the states and provinces in reaching their strategic visions through the deployment of practical and workable solutions that will serve your internal needs and the needs of your motor carriers.
